These terms apply the moment you download or use MyCAS, so please read them carefully first. If you don't agree with them, don't use the app.
01Licence & intellectual property
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use MyCAS on your own devices. You may not copy or modify the app, extract or reverse-engineer its source code, translate it, or create derivative versions. The app and all related trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property remain the property of Marco Cebrián Muiño. Mathematical libraries inside the app keep their own licences.
02Changes & pricing
Marco Cebrián Muiño is committed to keeping the app useful and efficient, and reserves the right to change it, or to charge for it, at any time. We will never charge you for the app or a service without making very clear exactly what you're paying for.
03The mathematics
MyCAS is a computer algebra system. It aims to show an exact answer, the steps and a graph, and to say when a result is only an estimate. It can still be wrong, incomplete, or slow. You are responsible for checking any result that matters, including school work, engineering, science, medicine or money. Marco Cebrián Muiño accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss from relying wholly on an answer.
04Your device
You're responsible for keeping your device working and charged. A long calculation uses the processor on that device. If the device runs out of battery, storage or time and a calculation stops, Marco Cebrián Muiño can't accept responsibility. MyCAS does not need a network to compute. A network is used only if you choose to send a support email.
05Updates & termination
The app is available with full support for macOS, iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android. System requirements may change, and you'll need to install updates to keep using it. You agree to accept updates when they're offered. We may also stop providing the app and end your right to use it at any time without notice. On termination, the rights granted to you here end and you must stop using and, if asked, delete the app.
06Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time, so please check this page periodically. Any changes are effective as soon as they're posted here.
